Bonnell Industries $25k donation to the Dixon YMCA child development center

On August 12th 2025 Bonnell Industries pledged to give $25,000 to the Dixon Family YMCA. This money not only helps the YMCA but also helps support the community it is in. Programs like the YMCA are non for profit and strive to better the community with fitness and sports. It has forever been a place where people can go and feel safe and have fun. With a new daycare facility opened up this past year, it has been a big undertaking for the YMCA. So any monetary donations help grow and build a stronger facility.

Daycare in the area is a valuable resource to the working class. The YMCA runs a very clean, safe, and trusting atmosphere for parents to feel comfortable leaving their children. Joe Bonnell was quoted as saying, "We are proud to donate to such a strong member of the community, and when it comes to community and involvement, the YMCA has proven to be a leader, “This project is very beneficial to the community to have an up-to-date child care facility here in Dixon.”
